The Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees), is a nonprofit organization of of young active citizens between the ages 18 to 40 who are dedicated to improving themselves, creating positive change, and make new friends by serving charitable interests in their local communities.

The Cayce-West Columbia Junior Chamber is a chapter of the SC Jaycees and JCI USA, offers members the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of individual development, management skills, and business connections through community service in the Cayce, West Columbia and the surrounding Columbia metropolitan area for over 64 years.
​
With the focus on volunteerism, the Jaycees are enlarging areas of opportunity for adults who want to not only improve themselves, but enrich the lives of others.
Our chapter caters to residents in Cayce, West Columbia, and the surrounding Columbia metropolitan area. We are always looking for new faces and fresh ideas to keep our chapter and projects growing.
Since 1957, our chapter has donated its time and money to such charities as Relay For Life, Harvest Hope, SisterCare, Families Helping Families, Support Our Troops, and Jaycee Camp Hope - A camp specifically designed for intellectually disabled children aged 7 and up and adults - Which is sponsored by the South Carolina Jaycees.

We Believe:
That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of men;
That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
The Jaycee Creed was written by C. William Brownfield in 1946. Adopted by the U.S. Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International, this simple statement of beliefs unites Jaycees around the world in a bond of friendship and purpose.
These 65 words have become the third most important document in the lives of many, many people worldwide.
